Working capital for the gap between busy and quiet.
Rent on the first, wages on Friday, the VAT bill in the quarter you’re least ready for it. Working capital finance keeps the business running while the takings catch up.

What fits a working capital need.
Two products do this job well. Which one depends on whether the gap is a one-off or a rhythm.
What businesses use it for.
An example.
A café with a £6,000 VAT bill due in January, its quietest month. On FlexiPay, it pays HMRC on the day, chooses a six-month term, and repays £1,000 a month plus one flat fee set when it was approved. By July the limit has recharged and the summer stock order can go on it.
Illustration only. Your fee and limit are set by Funding Circle on application.
How quickly can I have it?
Eligibility in 30 seconds, a decision typically within days, and the limit is available as soon as it’s set up. Most businesses apply before they need it.
What does it cost if I don’t use it?
Nothing. FlexiPay is free to set up with no annual fee. You pay a flat fee only on payments you make.
Can I pay a supplier directly?
Yes, by bank transfer from FlexiPay, or on the FlexiPay card anywhere Visa is accepted.
Is a loan ever better for working capital?
When the gap is large and one-off, a shorter-term loan over 6 or 12 months can be cheaper and simpler. We’ll tell you which.
