EPOS and card machines for bakeries.
Most of the day's money comes through the door before ten. The till has to be faster than the queue and know what's left on the shelf.

What is a bakery EPOS?
A quick counter till for loaves, pastries and coffee, combined with a product list that tracks what's sold out, takes deposits for cake orders and runs click-and-collect for the weekend rush.
We set bakeries up on Square, with your product list built before the kit arrives.

Why bakeries choose Atlas.
- Your product list is built before we arrive, including weighed items and anything with a barcode.
- Fitted on site, not posted in a boxAcross the East Midlands we come out, place the kit and train whoever is on shift. Elsewhere in the UK we ship it configured and set it up with you on a call.
- One number afterwardsThe person who specced it is the person who answers. Not a ticket queue, not a call centre.
Works with what you already use.
We check the apps you already pay for before anything is ordered.
Bakeries questions, answered.
Can it sell by weight?
Yes. Items can be priced per kilo or per gram, and staff enter the weight at the till.
Can customers pre-order cakes?
Yes, online or in the shop, with a deposit taken at the time of order.
Can I see what's sold out?
Yes. Tracked items count down as they sell and can be marked sold out.
Can I use it on a market stall as well?
Yes. For a stall without Wi-Fi we fit a Shift4 One card machine with its own SIM card, which works on mobile data.
What about wholesale customers?
Send invoices with a pay-now link from the dashboard; they sync to Xero or QuickBooks.
What if the connection drops?
Square Terminal, Register and Handheld keep taking payments offline and upload them when the connection returns, within 24 hours to be safe. Contactless cards need a connection, phone wallets don't.
