Sheffield · Shift4The story →
- About 40 minutes away23.9 miles by road from our Shirebrook office. Visits are part of the job, never a line on the bill.
- 3 installs in town, with permissionNatalie Modoni Beauty Studio, The Lakeside Café and Ocean Blue Fish and Chips, on Shift4 and Square, each with its own story below.
Sheffield, in Jamie’s words.
Sheffield's home for me, and it's where a lot of my installs are. Natalie Modoni's beauty studio and The Lakeside Café both run on Shift4, and up in Chapeltown, Ocean Blue fish and chips take their payments on Square.
I'll come out the same week, and the first visit's free with no call-out fee. Most owners in Sheffield start by asking what they're actually paying, so I go through your last statement and tell you straight, even if you're already on a good deal.
Busier places with higher card takings usually suit Square. Smaller cafés, salons and anyone trading on the move usually suit Shift4. I'll tell you which fits and why, and when something goes wrong, you ring me, not a call centre.

Business types we fit in Sheffield.
What people in Sheffield ask us.
Signal is bad in my unit. Can you still fit something?
Kelham Island in particular is full of converted industrial buildings with thick walls. We test the signal in your building before we leave, and if it won’t hold we say so rather than fitting it anyway.
Do you cover the suburbs as well as the centre?
Hillsborough, Crookes, Abbeydale Road and Sharrow Vale all have their own pages.
