The Square range, honestly.
Five pieces of kit that cover almost every counter. Each page says what the thing does, which trades we put it in, and where it’s the wrong answer — because the quickest way to lose a customer is to sell them the expensive one.

Square Stand
Turns an iPad into a proper countertop till, with chip and PIN and contactless built into the stand.
Shift4 One, the SIM card machine.
For trading away from Wi-Fi we fit a Shift4 One card machine with its own SIM card, which works on mobile data. Square Terminal and Handheld connect over Wi-Fi (Terminal also Ethernet), so a hatch, a van or a market pitch is where the Shift4 One earns its place. Ask for it by name on the quote form.
The bits around the till.
Fitted and configured on the same visit, on the same account, so the end-of-day figures still add up. We only put these in where they earn their place.

Kitchen and bar printers that fire the order through the moment it’s taken, so nobody is walking dockets to the pass.

Opens on a cash sale, stays shut on a card one, and reconciles against the same end-of-day report as everything else.

For anyone carrying real stock. Scans straight into the sale and takes the item off the count as it goes.
