EPOS and card machines for bars, pubs and breweries.
Card volume lands in a two-hour spike. The bottleneck is the bar, not the till, so we spec for throughput.

Till behind the bar, terminals along it
What is a bar EPOS?
A system that lets two or three staff ring up and take payment at the same time, keeps tabs open against a card, and sends food orders to the kitchen while drinks are poured. Taproom and brewery sites add a product list for cans and merch, with stock that counts down as it sells.
We set bars up on Square, and we spec around your busiest hour, not your average one.
Give your bar the edge.
More than one serving point, one account
A Register behind the bar and Terminals along it, all ringing into the same takings. Kit: Square Register, Square Terminal.
Tabs that close in one tap
Open a tab against a customer's card and close it at the end of the night without hunting for the right one. Kit: Square for Restaurants.
The garden and the function room
Where the Wi-Fi doesn't reach, we fit a Shift4 One card machine with its own SIM card, which works on mobile data, so the garden and the function room take card too. Kit: Shift4 One (SIM card machine).
Food to the kitchen, numbers to you
Food orders print in the kitchen as they're rung. Sales by hour and by staff member are on the dashboard the next morning. Kit: kitchen printer, Square Dashboard.
Why bars choose Atlas.
- Specced for your busiest hourWe count serving points and staff on a Friday, not a Tuesday.
- Fitted on site, not posted in a boxAcross the East Midlands we come out, place the kit and train whoever is on shift. Elsewhere in the UK we ship it configured and set it up with you on a call.
- One number afterwardsThe person who specced it is the person who answers. Not a ticket queue, not a call centre.
What we’d fit.
A till behind the bar, a Terminal per serving point, a Shift4 One with its own SIM for the garden.

Works with what you already use.
We check the apps you already pay for before anything is ordered.
Bars and breweries questions, answered.
Can we run bar tabs?
Yes. A tab is opened against a card with a pre-authorised amount and closed at the end of the night. We set the wording on the prompt so staff aren't explaining it every time.
Will the card machines keep working when the room is full?
Square Terminal, Register and Handheld keep taking payments offline and upload them when the connection returns, within 24 hours to be safe. Contactless cards need a connection, phone wallets don't. Where the Wi-Fi is doubtful we fit a Shift4 One card machine with its own SIM card, which works on mobile data.
Can food orders go straight to the kitchen?
Yes. Food prints or appears on a kitchen screen the moment it's rung up, and drinks stay at the bar.
Can we take payment in the beer garden?
Yes. Where the Wi-Fi doesn't reach we fit a Shift4 One card machine with its own SIM card, which works on mobile data.
Does it track stock?
It counts down stock on items you set up to track, such as bottles, cans and merch. Draught is usually tracked by the keg outside the till.
Can you fit it without closing?
Yes. We fit on your quietest day and have you running before the evening.
