- Advance on card takings
Money against your card takings.
A business cash advance repaid as a share of what you take, not a fixed monthly payment that doesn’t care what kind of week you had. We arrange it alongside the card machine, through lenders we actually deal with.
Pay back automatically through your sales.
No interest. A fixed fee and a share are agreed up front, and that share then comes out of card takings as they settle. A quiet Monday costs you less than a busy Saturday.
Nothing changes at the counter. Customers pay the way they always did and the terminal behaves exactly as before. The repayment happens on the settlement side.
When it’s the wrong answer: if you need money for something that won’t generate takings, like a tax bill or paying down another debt, an advance is usually the expensive way to do it. It earns its keep on a refit, equipment or stock before a season, where the money comes back through the till. If the numbers don’t work, we’ll say so.
What you get.
Funding that follows your trade.
Decided on trading
Assessed on what goes through the terminal, not just a credit file.
Repaid from takings
A share of each card sale, so a quiet week costs you less than a busy one.
One cost, agreed up front
Nothing compounds, and there is no charge for clearing it early.
Arranged alongside the kit
Same person, same visit. We already see how the card machine performs.
It stops when it is clear
There is no final balloon payment. When the agreed amount is repaid, the deductions stop.
Who it suits.
- A business that takes card paymentsMonthly card turnover is the number that matters most. Send a few months of statements and we come back with a figure.
- Money that will come back through the tillA refit, equipment, stock before a season, a second site.
- Turned down by a bank?Common, and not necessarily a problem here. Lending against trading history is a different assessment to lending against a credit file.
How it works.
Atlas arranges it; the lender provides the funding. The agreement is between you and the lender.
- 1
Agree a share
You and the lender agree what slice of each card sale goes towards the advance. It is a percentage, not a fixed monthly figure.
- 2
Trade as normal
Nothing changes at the counter. Customers pay the way they always did and the terminal behaves exactly as before.
- 3
Repay automatically
The share comes out of card takings as they settle. A quiet week costs you less than a busy one, which is the entire point.
- 4
It stops when it is clear
There is no final balloon payment and no penalty for getting there early. When the agreed amount is repaid, the deductions stop.

Advance questions.
How much can I get?
It is based on what goes through your card machine rather than a credit score, so monthly card turnover is the number that matters most. Send a few months of statements and we will come back with a figure.
Does it affect my card machine?
No. The terminal, the rates and the way you take payment all stay as they are. The repayment happens on the settlement side.
What if I have been turned down by a bank?
Common, and not necessarily a problem here. Lending against trading history is a different assessment to lending against a credit file.
How quickly does it move?
Days rather than weeks once statements are in, assuming nothing unusual turns up.
Is there a penalty for repaying early?
Not with the lenders we use. The amount agreed is the amount repaid, whether that takes four months or nine.
Who actually lends the money?
365 Finance or YouLend, depending on which fits. Atlas arranges it and stays involved afterwards; the agreement is between you and the lender.

Send us three months of statements.
We will come back with a figure, tell you what it costs, and say plainly if we think you would be better off not taking it.
